Drama Group

The drama group is open to anyone aged 16 and over.  The group produces a play each November and meets in the church Halls on Monday evenings from August onwards. Past productions have included “Allo,Allo”, “Season’s Greetings” and “Arsenic and Old Lace”. The emphasis is on fun as well as presenting as professional a drama as possible. The group would welcome new members either on stage or behind the scenes.

Our November 2007 production of "Murdered to Death" was a great success, as the group played to full houses on the Friday and Saturday and with only a few empty seats on the Thursday. A generous donation will be made to church funds. The members are now in the process of looking for the next play for November 2008. If you are interested in joining the group in any capacity, front stage or behind the scenes, please contact Carol Wright, secretary, or any member of the group.

The group is donating £200 to church funds and with the rest of the profits, wishes to upgrade the lighting/sound systems in the hall, when it is refurbished, for the use of all the organisations.
