On Saturday, 9th June the Hillwalking Club celebrated its 20th  Anniversary by replicating the first walk undertaken in June 1987  when over 20 folk went to Muirshiel and climbed Hill of Stake.

Everyone who has been connected with the club in any way over the past 20 years was invited to join us, meeting at the Steeple at  8.00 am and leaving Muirshiel Country Park Car Park at 9.00 am to climb Hill of Stake.  On  return to the centre, there was a bar- b-cue.  It was great to see old (and young) friends to catch up with news and reminisce.
